In regards to how these stages rise and fall, NVP and RVP are exact opposites. So as you gain a stage, you get more skills and powers, as you lose a stage you lose those abilities until you reach the required stages once again. Most vampire mods (and vampirism in general) have their abilities unlocked according to what stage vampire you are. It seems your mod uses RVP instead of the vanilla NVP. Reverse Vampire Progression is when you get stronger when you feed, and the longer your last feed was, the weaker you become. For the sake of this topic, this is referred to as Normal Vampire Progression The longer your last feed was, the stronger you get. In vanilla Skyrim, you get stronger when you don't feed. You either get stronger by starving yourself (no feeding = more strong) or you get stronger by feeding (feeding = more strong). There are generally two ways to be stronger as a vampire, in the vanilla game there was only one. Some mods change the way vampirism works. This leads me to believe that instead of actually getting stronger as I feed I just lose my powers. Keep in mind that at the time of the feeding I had the vampiric hypnosis ability and then after feeding it's gone. So I decided to attempt to feed on someone and at the top left of the screen it says "Your vampiric powers grow as you feed" or something along those lines. Lord Harkon: There is an important mission. Otherwise, that explains why he want you to join his group. That requires that Harkons men are not that smart and skilled at doing their job. After this theory, the vampire-thralls are just other members of the bandit-gang. This mod has been highly touted as the best vampire mod in Skyrim. Now they reached stage 4 and just go attacking everything. They are mostly bandits, who did turn into vampires by fighting with them. The sub-question is, if someone is wearing vampire-armor, must he have contact to a clan or even castle volkihar in the past? Or is it just an optical simplification?
